This is a lovely bamboo bag with lotus lace embroidery.
The plump, rounded shape with abundant gathers on the soft, washed fabric is utterly adorable.
The fabric was woven in Bishu, a textile-producing region.
With lotuses in full bloom, budding lotuses, and buds, flowers of various expressions are beautifully embroidered, faithfully reproducing Maki's hand-drawn design.
It comes in two colors: a dignified blue and a warm red.
A coordinated set with a matching beret would also be wonderful.
