Rose Hotel Yokohama & Restaurant Jukeihanten's New Uniform Design
The Rose Hotel stands out in Yokohama Chinatown with its exceptionally elegant atmosphere.
Its appeal lies in its historically significant building, exuding a sense of grandeur, and its exotic, refined spaces that seamlessly blend into the Chinatown ambiance.
Maki had the honor of designing the new uniforms for the Rose Hotel.
"Blue Rose Textile"
The new uniforms feature an original "blue rose" textile, with the rose being the hotel's symbol. The design is based on "Yokohama Blue," reminiscent of Yokohama's sky and sea, and resonates with the vibrant blue of "Choyomon," Chinatown's largest gate, deeply connecting to the hotel's location and cultural background.

"Functional Uniforms Designed for Durability"
In designing the functions and selecting fabrics, we collaborated with a specialized uniform manufacturing company to achieve a finish that combines both functionality and design. Jackets and shirts incorporate colors inspired by the sea, such as navy and light gray.
